RESORTWEAR - one thing at a time

One thing at a time translates to an urban everyday take on vacation. It has a laid-back summer holiday aesthetic. These casual pieces feature vibrant colour and pattern interest and are designed to cater for festival and spring break drops.

Summer vacations inspire a relaxed and breezy style : sun-baked colours, poolside accessories and tropical plants inspire colour, texture and finish of the garments.

The ‘one thing at a time’ colour palette is a set of playful and upbeat bright-tones. Colour approaches a confident look, relying less on neutral base tones and instead wearing top-to-toe colour, neon green, lemon yellow and shades of purple provide pops against more commercially proven hues of pale pink, and powder blue.

DIGITAL PRINTS DEVELOPED FOR THIS COLLECTION
I developed and created prints for this collection keeping in mind the colour story creating a happy and positive aesthetic. I played with stripes and gave them a very hand painted feel. I also experimented with words and positioned them in a way that they look like a striper print from afar.

These prints were then printed on cotton based fabrics as placement prints / AOPs giving a fresh and premium feel to the fabrics.
