Design for the Wardrobe Department

For the CBC show Coroner I designed the logo for the Toronto Police Force. On the left is the patch that the regular cops would wear, and the subdued patch on the right is for the Emergency Task Force. It needed to designed in a way that it resembled the actual Toronto Police Service logo, but not too close.
This was a simple design that had a slightly more complicated execution. The initial plan of stencilling the logo onto these clean suits didn't work so I needed to print iron on transfers with a yellow that matched the suits. We were under the gun, and it took some trial and error, but with the help of the wardrobe department we delivered all the suits on time for camera.
This mask was meant to replicate, in our own style, the Japanese brand A Bathing Ape which is shown above. I researched WWII airplane nose art, and then submitted to wardrobe a sample of the camouflage pattern I thought would work well with what is currently fashionable in modern streetwear.
