2018 Animalia, Flora, Mineral series: Scorched
For the drawing prompt "Scorched" I wanted to focus on radiation treatments. It doesn’t just kill cancer- it burns everything and we hope it kills the cancer cells faster than everything else.
Animalia: Giant tube worms who live on undersea volcanic vents.
Flora: Cala Lilies which represent rebirth and healing in certain cultures.
Mineral: Metatorbernite, a radioactive stone.
