With more than 5 million participants spread over a nine-day, multi-city pilgrimage, the annual Mazu Holy Pilgrimage in central Taiwan is one of the biggest religious festivals in the world. This is Zhenlan Temple (鎮瀾宮) in Dajia (大甲) on day one in 2008.
