Boró (2015)
This artwork was inspired on a ritual from the tribe Sateré-Mawé (amazonian tribe), Tucandeira ritual. This ritual consists in wear a saaripé (a straw glove with bullets ants) and it will determine the transition to adulthood.
The window that appears in the piece as a shape of the saaripé they use and the name boró means good morning in the tribe language.
Wherever you look through the saaripé you will always have a new perspective and you will always have a new good morning.
