Competition for the rennovation, update and extension of one the most important swimming clubs in Spain. The competition program intends to update the existing building and swimming pools by enlarging and introducing new equipment and pools. The architectural image of the building should also become a new updated image for the club.

The project develops the idea of adding a continuous wooden roof on top of the existing building creating a series of spaces and arranging a continuous flow around the building.

The project is developed through a series of actions with the aim of re-organising the spaces and opening the club to the gardens. The existing swimming pools of the old building are kept on their current location, but the other sport court are rotated adn relocated for a better accessibility to all areas. This also allows for a new block along the basket ball court overlooking the green. Finally a new wooden roof is built adding new outdoor spaces for social use or other summer sport activities.
