These images were drawn and designed for Rescreatu in 2009.
I created over 100 game art images for Truelight Media's adventure/adoptable game website Rescreatu.com between 2006-2011. Most of these were created during my high school education and on an as-needed basis. Because Truelight Media is an American company with employees all around the world, most communication was done via Skype, email and through online staff forums. As well as helping with illustration, I also worked on the game narrative.
The staff team here worked together and in good humor - in game, you can find an item called 'Kirsti's Fancy Underwear', a prank by a colleague that stuck. We worked together to build stories and plan updates, with little hierarchy and with a big focus on implementing user's ideas and suggestions. It was a great experience - I learned a lot about working with a team, and communicating online with people from all backgrounds, of all ages.
