TZFM201 Spring Wk8 Practical Experimenting Feedback

Inspired by fellow student @Alex Walton I intend to capture six images of light painting using burning steel wool. The photoshoot will take place at 3am in a local car park.
I will use fine grade steel wool pushed into a metal whisk and attached to a dog lead. The steel wool will be set alight and spun in circles across varying planes of the focus field.

I will use a slow shutter technique and will require a tripod. Camera settings will be: f10, 25sec, ISO100, daylight white balance. I will focus on the model and then switch to manual focus to prevent the auto focus searching in the dark and losing the overall focus.

Care will be taken to ensure the safety of the model and the surrounding area. If successful I will work to perfect the technique to explore further how light painting might be used in my photography.

I will present the six most successful images for feedback.
