Bumblebee Conservation Trust - Website Re-design
This project was made by the agency Pixeled Eggs. The client felt that their website was outdated and hard to edit, so we proposed a full re-design.

My participation in the design process included the following:
Discovery phase
where we understood the BBCT audience and pain points through interviews with users and workshops with the client.

Navigation & Wireframes
where we focused on finding the best way to interpret our discovery findings into an Information Architecture and later on the wireframe stage, where we ensure the User Experience is optimal. Each of these processes involved two iterations which were presented to the client, and check-ins with developers to ensure that our ideas can come to reality with a smooth workflow.

User Interface Design
where we worked on understanding the client's branding and translate it into a modern, visually appealing website. This process consisted of three iterations where we discussed moodboards, interactions and general visual cues. Developers are also heavily involved in this stage to ensure that our goals are achievable.

Building the Design System is a priority for us as it will improve developer's workflow and facilitate the creation of blocks, so when the client needs to create new pages on the CMS we ensure that there is consistency and ease of use.
Overview of our design system
Before & After of the homepage. We focused on making the homepage an introduction of the Trust with impactful storytelling.
I am proud of both my individual work and our team work process, the communication was very efficient between relevant teams and stakeholders.
What I learnt from this project is how important it is communicate efficiently and how beneficial it is to have made a solid research. If you want to learn more about this project, feel free to get in touch. Overall, it was a success!
