The Time Machine
H.G. Wells
This book cover was a design that was done with a twist of the original book by H.G. Wells. My goals for this design were- to bring a modern look to it and really focus on the change of time with the stop watch shifting into a futuristic modern day watch.
Sketching Out
I knew from the very beginning that I wanted this book cover to be more modern and have a technological feel to it. I began sketching on my ipad coming up with ideas on how I was going to make this come to life. I eventually sketched out the design to the right and was able to bring the sketch to life.

I thought that this was an excellent piece to add to my portfolio because it is something that will stand out to people. A lot of kids in our generation or designers wont have a book cover from H.G. Wells because it is not a mainstream design hit. Doing this project I learned alot about the layouts and designing of these prints and I look forward to doing more in the future.
