Trektile : Trekking Jacket
This is my Bachelor's thesis project in product design. It began with my passion for hiking and trekking, leading me to identify the challenges associated with these activities. One significant challenge is the variability of weather conditions encountered during different trips, or even within the same trip. As a result, it becomes necessary to have multiple pieces of gear to suit each type of weather. Specifically, trekking jackets are essential but often require multiple options to accommodate various weather and environmental conditions.
This sparked my design ideation process to create a versatile trekking jacket capable of transforming into different modes to suit various weather conditions: warm, cool, and cold.
