In this project, I designed two web pages for Bésame Cosmetics with accompanying illustrations and animations. Bésame Cosmetics is a clean luxury beauty brand recreating vintage makeup, founded by a makeup historian. I designed a cookie consent form pop-up and a 404-error page.
The photos above show their overall vintage, but also the modern and classy feel that their brand has.
I was mainly inspired by older 1920s-1930s vogue covers and their contemporary-inspired illustrations. The third illustration to the right was done by Richard Weiss on Flickr. I borrowed the simple shapes and gradients I found and applied them to my illustrations above.
