Refunctioning of the Old Factory

This project revolves around the adaptive reuse of a historic factory within an archaeological site, transforming it into a modern office space for an energy company. Embracing open-plan architecture, the design preserves the building's historical character while promoting unity and creativity.
The project's success lies in meticulous planning and execution. Utilizing 3D laser scanning and AutoCAD, detailed measured drawings were created with precision. Material and structural analyses were conducted using Photoshop for a comprehensive understanding of the building's heritage and condition.
I played a pivotal role, leading the initial site survey and collaborating with 3D laser technicians. Leveraging expertise in materials and structural analysis, the lead facilitated informed renovation choices through close collaboration with the engineering team.
This collaborative effort resulted in comprehensive, detailed end drawings, providing a solid foundation for the successful adaptive reuse of the historic factory. The project exemplifies the seamless integration of heritage and modernity in architectural design.
