The Russian Railways Holding (JSC Russian Railways) is a Russian state-owned vertically integrated company, owner of public infrastructure and the largest carrier of the Russian railway network.
To improve employee awareness of the corporate employee adaptation system, an information booklet was developed.
To implement the layout, the idea of creating a transformer layout was chosen, which would simultaneously be both a poster carrying a bright emotional coloring and graphic expressiveness, and an information booklet that would be made in accordance with the corporate style of Russian Railways. Thus, the layout corresponds to all the necessary aspects of a “working” design — aesthetic, functional and semantic aspects. Due to the simplicity of the grid and the content of the booklet, the outlined process of employee adaptation is as accessible and understandable as possible to the target audience: applicants on the labor market, students, schoolchildren and ordinary people. Thanks to the division of the text of the position into separate spreads, the information component of the layout is structured into three blocks: each spread of the booklet is dedicated to a separate “career stage” and the accompanying process of adaptation to a new position.
