Personal project, 2020
This project started as a hard surface modeling exercise in Blender. I turned to the super cool mech design of REX from the original Metal Gear Solid. During the development of the project, I figured it would be a nice presentation of the final work to show it in a scene, so I started blocking out the hangar where you fight him in the game.

The project turned out to be a great exercise, not only in modeling and realtime rendering (Eevee), but also good practice of managing a lot of separate pieces. I ended up building the environment in one file, the mech in another, then linking those collections in a third file where I set up lighting, cameras, atmosphere and VFX for the final renders.
