NEWTOWN FESTIVAL 2013

Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, in conjunction with Nathan Farrell Entertainment approached us to design the branding & promo campaign for Newtown Festival 2013’s music lineup announcement.
2013 being the 35th Anniversary of the festival we wanted to create a poster that represented Newtown’s diverse and creative community to celebrate this milestone. The poster features a collage of images we photographed around Newtown, including key landmarks such as the MLK ‘I Have A Dream’ mural, Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, Court House, Newtown School of Performing Arts and many more. We also incorporated iconic sculptures and artworks from the area, along with other quirky elements which we feel capture the vibe of the suburb.
