Amazon Prime Day initially began in July of 2015 as an approach to observe Amazon's 20th anniversary. For 24 hours, Amazon cut the cost of many products. The deals were for only Prime members only. Amazon Prime Day was a hit and since 2015 Amazon has developed its arrangements a-thon into a gigantic Black Friday like occasion.

Amazon Prime Day is postponed. Last year it’s been celebrated in July. Amazon Prime Day 2020 will happen in October.
