Buc Noi Shares His Insights on the Music Industry, Fashion & Business

Buc Noi, one of the cutting edge music artists making noise in the music industry from the DC Metro area commonly known as the DMV but hails from Salt Lake City, Utah. Although his talent is recognized by fans across the country, he is also making strides as an impressive entrepreneur having founded his brand called M.O.B (Minds of Billionaires) in early 2019. His latest endeavor with M.O.B shares a positive message and movement to bring people together no matter what race or socioeconomic background you come from, in order to live a happy and successful life.
In addition to his apparel line, he is still hosting the annual Asian HipHOP All-Star weekend events with his friend and partner, Tommy Tattz. "When I'm seeking other artists to perform at our live events, I look for their talent as well as their performance, presence and how they vibe with the fans," he shared. Live Performances are always key to an artist's development not just as a professional musician but to develop and build a solid fan base, which in turn, creates a greater buzz for the event as well as the artist.

His recent single, "F*ck Friends" has garnered nearly 100,000 views in the last 3 months. Buc Noi wrote the lyrics to this particular track while he was in jail. "It's always your closest friends that do you dirty, and I wrote that song when I was in jail. It took that experience of serving time to make me the man, and artist that I am today. I am not trying to glorify the experience at all, but I am grateful for the lessons it taught me so that I can move forward with my life, put the positive message and movement out to the world with my M.O.B (Minds of Billionaires) brand and inspire others to do the same!"

True to his roots, we asked Buc Noi, if no one had ever met him or heard his music, what five words would he use to best describe himself. He replied, "Loyal, OG, straight up, humble and funny. In today's world, with social media and digital media on the web, it is a good way to get yourself out there, whether it is for music or branding. Real talent is always going to stand out. If I can advise other artists or business owners, if you have real talent, don't waste your time worrying about all these other clowns on the net."

Although Buc Noi never had a mentor, he seeks to be that inspirational leader for millions of people worldwide with his M.O.B brand as well as his music. "I always had to learn everything on my own. As a founder of a fashion brand, I would have to admit that I admire Future as a fashion icon and businessman. He always looks fresh and he spends millions a year on his wardrobe."
