My #1Hour1Layer Challenge on Instagram (@chelseablecha) was a personal challenge I created in October 2018 to push myself to get looser with painting and make quicker decisions while composing a piece. The rules are simple: Set a timer to paint a study for 1 hour, and use only 1 layer. I painted over 20 photo studies, but these are my favorites/the best ones!
