The product
RelWood is a new and innovative wood-substitute that looks and feels like wood. It can also be used like wood and is much more durable as it is termite-resistant, fire-resistant, water-resistant and UV-resistant.
The brief
Reliance Industries Ltd. wanted to launch RelWood in the Indian wood & plywood market. The key objective of the launch was to communicate to the trade and consumers that RelWood is ‘just like wood, but a lot better’.
The idea
To demonstrate that RelWood, while resembling wood,is actually made without harming any trees. We replaced the traditional metal ‘grill’ that protects young trees, with a RelWood version. Thereby, reinforcing RelWood’s corevalue of ‘looking like wood,
but without harming trees’.
