researching group on heritage studies

Researching group on heritage studies was part of a range of 4 different researching lines that Nacional university of Colombia at Manizales campus offered by the time I was in nine semester. This patrimonial stream was ran by PhD. Juan Pablo Duque, professor at National University, who aimed to introduce a very accurate research method on the identification of "Republican architecture" which is meant to be National heritage. Through the researching the team found out a very well-conceived urban space appropriation from some architectural pieces that seemed to had quite a lot of republican characteristics on its forms and details, so the crew decided to focus on those characteristics and how they develop such roll on the urban space of Manizales.

An specific architectural object was chosen as the centre of the investigation due to its relation into the historic context as a Republican architectural piece and a sign of a "City-garden" into the manizales urban space. This element was a dwelling located on a borough called Versalles where all the urban planning development pointed to comform such idea of "city-garden" (idea concieved in Europe but re-thought in Latinoamerica).

The process of this researching led the team to build up a time-line analisis data that show all the historic development of this specific dwelling.
