This project was inspired from a topic of beneath the surface during my Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. It is constructed using metal washers which enclose a glass cylinder which is lit up in the dark to produce shadows. The idea was to create a series of layers to arrive to the candle at the centre to interpret the theme with which we had to work with, that of beneath the surface.
