Electrical is a pop song that basically evokes the atmosphere of the 80ies, which was an exciting challenge for the singer, as this way she had to show her skills in a new, previously unfamiliar for her style.
„The song is about letting go and becoming free. If we want to stay alive and have a good time, we have to get rid of the fears that hold us back. When it happens and we manage to step over our own limits, it is as if we got an electric shock, suddenly we feel relieved. It is like when you go to a festival and have fun at the concert of your favourite band.”- said the singer.
A videoclip has been made to accompany the song, created by young Hungarian filmmakers. The director if the clip is Badits Ákos, who has just graduated from the Budapest Theatre and Film Academy. The set designer was Tasnádi Zsófia, and the cameraman was Balázs István Balázs.
„We mixed the atmosphere of the 80ies, which characterized the music, with modern elements. We combined the „food landscape” created by visual designer on a table with digital elements. The clip depicts an inner conflict through the girl’s four identities. All four characters are played by Juli, which was a technological challenge too, but it would have been meaningless without Juli’s versatile personality”. –said the director.
