A visual ride to the future of Serbian highways

Intro
Highways in Serbia currently have relatively poor typography and signage which has roots in former Yugoslavian signage system. This system is now outdated.

I have started an exercise for me, rebranding the signage for serbian highways. I had some early works from 2007 which I abandoned because I didn't added cyrilic script. So why would I continue working on a project from 2007?

The answer is simple, i enjoy training my skills through such projects. Major goals I set for this project are clean design and typography; informative; two scripted, cyrilic and international since there is a lot of international transit there. Another major goal is that almost all signs should be same dimension, so the production would be streamlined.
Autoput 2020 Logo refresh
I refreshed Autoput 2020 logo, it looks more like an "A". Autoput means by the way "Highway".

Colors symbolise the colors of Serbian flag.

First batch of new drafts
A distance table, the upper part of table displays highway number and name including speed limit.
A highway exit mockup, the exit sign on the right side symbolizes exit number, bellow that target road number and distance to the exit.
Same as above, but indicates immediate exit.
Exit to energy station in 300m.
Now in serbia the phrase "benzinska stanica" (gas station) is used, energy station is a neutral term. And futureproof, maybe sometimes in future noone is going to use gas.
A junction announcement, distance to it - 5 km. Number 18 in circle signalizes exit number (in this case, junction number), the embeded "A1" in direction sign symbolizes direction to A1 highway.
A mockup for a regional road. The light greyed text is translation of bigger places/descriptions in areas with significant number of a national minorities. In this example that would be hungarian (i used google translate, because unfortunately i don't know hungarian).
This scheme represents the future network of serbian highways. Only major cities on route is marked, this is a pure design exercise.
