Speculative design app for users of 2123!

In Bálint's Ferenczi class together with Tetiana Tarenkova we speculated about life of people in dystopian over polluted world, where people are fully relying on plants just to breathe. We found out that to survive in a closed room without air from outside a person needs to have 300-500 plants. Based on post humanistic approach of Ron Wakkaray and the 2023 research of Israeli scientists "Sounds emitted by plants under stress are airborne and informative" we built our solution.
We switched the agency from humans to plants and now their needs are prioritized. Special microphones are constantly listening to the sound they are emitting and decoding them with AI to commands that people must obey.
Now you have to go to sleep as early as your plant decides and skip your daily shower, because the plant needs watering. Our app "breath" is representing our initial idea well. It shows the dependency of a person on the oxygen that their plants produce and tasks that the user has to complete to be in symbiosis with plants.
