Context
Aqua is a group project done for a User Experience class. We were tasked with creating a solution for the problem of micro plastics that had to take advantage of IoT technology.
Concept and research
After realising that the problem of micro plastics is one of systemic nature, we aimed at creating a solution that would address it as a whole, both preventing people from consuming them, while also offering a way to recycle them in order to take them out of water entirely and close the loop. If we only took the micro plastics out of the water and kept just throwing them into the trash, it would perpetrate the problem.
Based on the persona we developed, we went on to write user stories and create features that would satisfy the user's needs. You can take a look at the whole ideation document at this link.
