Unspoken is a project about the effects pornography has on relationships.

Within every relationship that it lingers in, pornography brings with it damaging lies that set standards. Each piece contains either a staged dating or marriage relationship with captions beneath describing the thoughts about the controversial issue.

The expressions of each are reflective upon the captions below attempting to display the unspoken feelings of remorse, insecurity, distrust and hurt that festers. The mouths are removed to visually display the lack of communication regarding the issue. The right and left hands of the couple are cut out to metaphorically show the relationship as they are "holding hands".

This work was part of a bigger event called Exposed. They were displayed in a room made to look like a bedroom symbolizing the marriage relationship and to give context to the relationships.
Him: "I'll stop when I'm married." Her: "How can I expect him to be completely free? That's just unrealistic of anyone."
Him: "I'll never be free will I?" Her: "Is something wrong with me?"
Him: "I have got to keep this a secret." Her: "Am I not attractive enough?"
Him: "Am I good enough?" Her: "As long as he stays faithful to me, he can do what he wants."
