A project undertaken for the research and study of a western textile of India, Mashru, the techniques involved, process of making the fibres and then how its woven. This project aimed to take forward the study of the the textile and finally design a contemporary ensemble for a target consumer keeping the textile in mind with respect to proper seams and seam finishing techniques.
