#dedouze300k DTIYS challenge +130821+
Hehe, so I participated in another DTIYS (Draw this in your style) challenge. This time, the challenge belongs to dedouze (on DeviantArt, Instagram and Twitter) as they celebrate their 300k followers milestone. I can't post the original artwork on here but you guys feel free to check their account out. Their works are simply amazingggg.
From the first time I saw the original artwork, the hat design already reminded me of "nón cụ" and "nón quai thao" - two types of Vietnamese traditional hats. Here is the design of "nón cụ": [[LINK]]

So when I knew the artwork was meant to be an art challenge, I once again combined Vietnamese traditional clothings and patterns into this piece to make it more unique or more of "my style".
Because of the color palette of their original artwork, I decided to set the background into some type of cyberpunk or futuristic city. It is the combination of modern setting and traditional wear, which I think would make a nice concept.
I changed the girl outfit into "áo tấc": [[LINK]]
and used Vietnamese "chim hạc" pattern: [[LINK]]
I quite like how this turned out. I hope you guys enjoy this piece as much as I do. Anyway, I will make a new commission price journal soon. Is anyone interested :'D? Please have a nice and safe day everyone>v<
