Every year our oceans fill up with more and more plastic, harming marine life and our environment. I want to raise awareness about recycling and how we should be more aware of our actions.
I was inspired by the art of found objects as it focuses on the environmental concerns and recycling. I decided to make a stop motion video where the main subject is the ocean and create it entirely out of plastic in my house. The topic "Think before you throw" was important to me as so many people always have to have the newest things and technology and don't even care what it's doing to the environment or where the old products end up.
