The aim of this project was to improve the app of Carris, the Portuguese public transport brand.
The promises of the app were to facilitate the daily lives of users and promote greater comfort. However the current app suffers from major usability and interface issues having a very low rating and disappointing reviews. After identifying the biggest frustrations of users through research and surveys, we understood the biggest pain points and we developed new features integrating a new gamification system, where users earn points and discounts when contributing to the smooth running of the app.
My role in this project has tightly integrated all fronts of user experience, user interface app design and final presentation design and thinking.
