Ryanair is an irish airline founded in 1985. They qualify as a low-cost company, and they have been expanding over the past years. Here, I decided to give it a brand new look.
3 keywords were chosen for this project: FLIGHT, DIVERSITY and TRUST.
The design was inspired by the idea of flight. Therefore, the edges were rounded to resemble the various curves of an airplane. The crossbars from the A's were removed, in a sense that it's pointing up.
To represent the idea of flight, the letter Y was modified, as if it was taking-off.
The colours chosen were the original Ryanair dark blue, and a lighter blue was incorporated. They represent the sky at night and in the day.
Positive, Negative and Monochrome versions
Version with the slogan
This is where the keyword of diversity is most represented, since the brand can adapt to the other services Ryanair provides. The hierarchy is set by the colours.
