ABA Publishes New Book from Famed Federal Judge Frederi

Attorney Christopher Matthew Limberopoulos brings more than 35 years of legal experience to his role as lead trial counsel at The Florida Law Group in Tampa. Throughout the years, Chris Limberopoulos has worked to build a professional network and expand his knowledge base through membership in various legal societies, including the American Bar Association (ABA), the preeminent professional association for lawyers in the United States.

In June 2019, the ABA released a new book from federal judge Frederic Block entitled, “Crimes and Punishments: Entering the Mind of a Sentencing Judge.” The book gives insight into the mind of how judges at the federal level determine appropriate sentences, as well as Block’s personal philosophy on sending people to prison for lengthy sentences. One of the ways he gives readers a look into this process is through his account of the Peter Gotti and Pedro Espada Jr. trials, both high profile cases in New York City.

Berkeley Law School dean Erwin Chemerinsky writes the book’s preface, calling Block one of today's leading thinkers in the area of constitutional law. The book is available for purchase from the ABA store at www.americanbar.org/products/inv/book/371170166/.
