Charrette :: Leftovers was a 3-day project to develop a proposal for a given site that due to inadequate building construction had been turned into an unusable leftover.
The regeneration project aimed at bringing back the value of space and architecture by creating a new type of unconventional use for the leftover. The aim was to highlight the site specifics as they were and to work with the existing context. The space was demonstratively covered with fabric and turned into a self-enclosing almost meditative site that offered an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The leftover was transformed without any building/structural interventions to a space for refuge that used its own qualities /as they were/ to attract and gain a value.
