To fight this, we created Woman Interrupted, an app that uses the mobile’s microphone to detect manterruption in daily conversations, using the difference in the frequency of male and female voices.
No audio is recorded, the voice becomes data in real time.
More than a campaign, Woman Interrupted is an actual tool to show the relevance of the issue and, most importantly, a starting point for a global debate about manterruption.
