Cherries & Pitches is an agency specialized events and PR for the state. Basically they are very good in pitching campaigns to the state.
The Design Process
The cherry part in the "Cherries & Pitches" was easy, but the pitches part was a bit of a challenge. The simplest idea was to make a peach, since it sounds like it but i wanted something smart.
After some extensive research and a lot of baseball pitch references, i had: an elevator (from the elevator pitch), a cherry shaped light bulb or something with cherries and a board. I wanted something else so i let it rest for a while.
In the last minute, i had the idea: a speech bubble. It shows that someone is in the process of communicating something and this little icon is one of the most attention captivating symbols because you know that something will appear after it.
