It's all about perspective
DRONO DEL AIRE
Rebranding project

Drono del aire is an Ecuadorian audiovisual production company with more than 20 years of professional experience on movie and TV shows making. Their aerial production team offers high quality video and photography services with high-tech drones. Also, their footage has been licenced and features by several national and international TV stations, and recently, the short film 'Manabi 7.8' which shows what happened after the 2016 earthquake in Ecuador, has been selected finalist by the New York City 2017 Drone Film Festival.

The real challenge in the rebrand process was to update the logo by the strong need to present all the brand values, missing on the first logo, and create all the brand applications involving all the tangible and intangible brand contents, values and finally, to present what the brand really was and where it will aim to the future.

The project took 5 months to complete and these were the results.
Before: The initial brand had the appearance of a beetle with outstretched wings, and was
built to simulate a military badge.
Initially, in the analysis phase and as inspiration for the new logo, numerous geometric shapes emerged, but the key to the development of this new brand would specifically in the operators ground point of view and the drone shape when it's flying overhead..
The final concept, in connection to all the brand values, was about the new perspective that drone footage shows to the viewer, it's all about perspective
Final geometrical icon construction.
Mutant brand structure
The versatility of a mutant brand structure delivers to the logo a good amount of applications. For the Drono del Aire logo in particular, the mutant structure is designed to be applied in 5 different ways.
