Canada in a Day Video Entry

Canada in a Day

The reason I filmed my entry was because I wanted to show my everyday Saturday. Using my IPhone, I went into my weekly routine in a vlogging format. Vlogging was a style of filming that is frequently used and my age group, almost as if I was on Snapchat. Using this style was also helpful in narrating or explaining where I was or how I felt. Since it was my first time filming myself, it was a very awkward process, there were multiple instances where I couldn’t look at the camera or I hid my phone from other eyes, but I hope to further learn and improve from this activity.
My September 11th consisted of me following my Mom going to our local Walmart to go grocery shopping. It was only later when my Mom was video calling with our family from the Philippines did I realize days like this only can happen in Canada. Days where we can practically do nothing in comparison to in the Philippines where teens would be hurrying in life to help support their families. Although adulthood is coming quickly for us teens, time seems to go slower here in Canada. We are privileged to enjoy our childhood, and that I am thankful for.
