Description : Softball is a discipline that exists well and truly in Senegal. With more than a hundred practitioners, Senegalese Softball is practiced everywhere in Dakar (the capital) as more particularly at Ebbets Field with the West Africa Invitational Softball Tournament.

The W.A.I.S.T held in Dakar every February. There are two leagues, the social league and the competitive league. The tournament stands on three days. Saturday and Sunday are for qualifications matchs, and Monday for Semi Finals ans Finals. Standard hours are 9am-5pm. Three fields are use for matchs, Suffolk University, Ebbet Field, International School of Dakar.
