The purpose of this project was to learn how to organize information using random objects and present them on a website. 

 

In the beginning of the process, we were assigned to photograph random objects which were provided by the instructor. After all the objects were shot, the students were challenged to come up with ways to organize these items.

 

For my solution, I started organized the given objects by various categories and then narrowed them by function and materials. To help me make sense of the situation,  I decided to come up with a story just to guide me into the theme and the way I can present the objects in an organized manner. I came up with a fictional character of a woman who is reminiscing her childhood by looking at a collection of things found in her old home. I titled the website, “The Story of These Things”.
