Some time ago I watched a movie from France - Close. Two boys chasing each other among flowers would have thought it was a happy ending, but it backfired.
The movie mainly revolves around two boys, Leo and Remi, who go from being close to each other to gradually becoming estranged from each other, until one of them commits suicide because he cannot bear the sudden changes. At the end of the movie, when Leo ran among the flowers for the last time, he turned around and found no one except the flowers. Intimacy can exist between girls, why can’t it reasonably exist or even form a relationship between boys?
