Knot Noodles - Crochet Brand

This project aimed to create a brand that displays crocheting in a youthful way through contemporary design to resonate with young adults and encourage them to pick up a hook and yarn. 

As a crocheter myself, I struggle to find a community filled with people my age or a brand that would resonate with me or my peers. Especially when looking at online sources about crocheting - most of the designs are bland or outdated. 

Thus, for this project, I want to create a brand that focuses on young adult crocheters and invites new people to pick up the craft by making learning easier.

Through research and development, I explored different types of video tutorials on how to crochet and decided to try and create 3D animated tutorials - with no fingers covering important parts and making the movements slow and precise. Additionally, I had an idea to create group kits - this would encourage people to try out new crafts with their friends! 

Overall with this project, I was aiming to fill in a gap in the crochet market.
