My task for a design exam was to propose a new visual language for the Bangalore Design Week. Over 3 days I had to create a new website with several criteria such as venue, date, time, countdown, list of speakers etc. My overall visual language was an orientation towards the future while paying homage to the past- the rich history, culture and heritage of our city. The sleek modernness was to match one of the criteria stating that BDW's voice and identity should reflect the fact that Bangalore is now looked at at an international level for design and innovation.
