3 Reflections
This photography piece is a small collage of what are essentially the 3 personas I embody in my life, the casual me, the serious me, and the relaxed me. Taken using a Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera with a Canon 52mm lens, this piece was shot in my university photography room with a white background and various lights both in front and to the sides to remove shadows from the background.
The Casual
Starting with the casual me, this series of photographs was taken with a timer while I tried to have different smiles, slight posture changes, and remove my glasses to remove the glare from the lights. I also realized my initial setup was too far back and had to move it forward to not have too much blank space above my head. This was to capture what I am every day of the weak to my friends and colleagues.
The Casual
The Casual me is an attempt to capture how I am when I'm relaxed and enjoying my time playing a videogame. Initially using a beanie, I decided having the hood over my head shows how I'm focused on the game and not concerned with the world around me.
The Serious
The Serious me is essentially how I present myself when dealing with serious or professional situations. Taking up my suit and tie from my marketing days, I at first tried to express a confident but happy attitude but eventually settled on a confident and serious expression to capture what I consider my most straightforward persona.
