Paddy Power - Safer Gambling Tools TV Spot

For the start of the 2023-24 season, Paddy Power wanted to engage punters not just with our betting offers and gas insights into the world of football, but with our safer gambling tools to help ensure their betting is always within their means.

For this TV spot, my script leaned into the insight that once the season gets going, there's hardly a day where there isn't football on TV - Premier League on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Champions League Tuesday and Wednesday, then Europa League on Thursday, maybe a bit of Championship on a Friday night. This leaned nicely into our 'Take a Break' tool, which allows bettor to temporarily make their betting accounts inaccessible for a period between a day and a month.

The spot, which I wrote and produced, uses our brand ambassador Peter Crouch as the straight man for an over-zealous TV presenter, who just can't get enough football.
