I find it interesting that movie stars of the Old Hollywood age are glammed up in behind-the-scenes photoshoots and publications—maybe the equivalent of present-day stars showing their houses in Architecture Digest.

Hence the illustration, elevating the outfit to Couture Dior (although anachronistic as it's from the 90s) and the background reminiscent of 18th century portraiture.
