In this study, which was made for a private Clinic working in the field of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery, the theme of Obesity was processed and an artistic object was produced in the Ceramic branch of plastic arts.
Dating back to 16th century Japan, this work was fired with the "Raku" technique. The simplicity and speed of the firing process and the mystical atmosphere of the unknowable outcome are very impressive.
The same plastic form is practiced many times until the desired result is achieved, and the most satisfying one is chosen.
Almost all the resulting forms have flaws, cracks and fractures, but this is the most impressive part.
The incandescent work from the high-temperature kiln is mixed with organic and inorganic materials such as fruit peels, sawdust, newspapers, etc. to create a reductive environment.

This technique results in a wide range of colors and powerful effects on the piece. Dramatic dark areas are created, accompanied by vibrant and shimmering colors. The strong thermal shock also creates cracks in the glaze.
The result is an unpredictable riot of color.
