100% - all aspects, used 3d scans from the internet though

workflow
I really like environments and landscapes, no matter if they are painted, 3d art or real. So I decided to create my own small cgi environment. First I gathered a couple of references. After that I made a list of assets I would need to complete the project. Then I scanned a couple of them, others I created myself (trees) and a couple (mainly the rocks) I downloaded from the internet.  I used a basic height-field setup in houdini to create the base terrain. After that I built a scatter setup which scatters objects based on the terrain curvature and the space they can have. I did this to break up the procedural look of the height-field.  After that I created a procedural looping flip-fluid river along a path which interacts with the surrounding assets. That creates the waviness look of the river.  At last I exported all assets into Blender. Recreating the scene was quite easy with the new Geometry-Node-System and the exported attributes from Houdini.
