Talaba Wooden Ball

This designer most of the time prefer to see thing in a deeper way then what it used to be and he believed everything has a possible thing to do with. This is what he always look up for, while he is designing. He feel like his past is unfinished painting and as the artist of that painting he must fill all the ugly holes and make it beautiful again for present, future and live a life between fantasy and reality.
Therefore, to utilize what is before, he take surrounding as the thing that inspired him the most and turn them into something that he prefer it would be.
For this TALABA easy chair design, the designer has sparked the ideas from his local community and it is begin with a statement of how can we improve or help the community. Since the designer hometown is near with the ocean, most likely he was inspired by what fisherman community do when the monsoon session is coming. Which is their are seating and fixing their fishing net.
Thereafter, the designer is also finding one similarity between Malaysia and Indonesia and what his founded is the beads used by Dayak ethnic that can be found in both Sarawak and Kalimantan.

With that, he combined the fisherman skill on fixing the fishnet and the beads to become a weaving and by that we giving them something else to do and another side income to improve their community in all.
Concurrently, this TALABA lounge chair design is also related with two scope of group which is the community and the manufacturing. Production will be produced the main structure of the chair design and at the end of the day both of it well have a positive impact.

On the whole, this chair design is appeared as a bridge between manufacturing industry and community surrounding and how can it bring a good trace in line.
Thank you so much...
