The kettlebell swing is an ideal workout for losing body fat and improving cardiovascular fitness. It's common knowledge that a strategic combination of diet and exercise can help lose fat for those who are concerned about their body mass index drifting away from the healthy range, lack of knowledge with respect to what exercise works best in this endeavor would hinder success. Some exercises such as long runs, light weight lifting, and the elliptical don't actually reduce as much fat as many people think. Unlike the aforementioned examples, kettlebell is a very effective exercise for correcting persistent belly fat problems. Kettlebell workouts may burn up to 400 calories in 20 minutes, according to WebMD.

To perform the exercise, place the kettlebell between your feet, slightly in front of you, with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend your knees, while using your hips to support your hands which now hold the kettlebell in position. To produce momentum, pull it back between your legs. Then, with your back straight, raise the kettlebell to shoulder level. Move the bell back and forth between your legs, bending your hips and knees. Repeat this action 15–20 times more.
